A running list of official ESI (device-description XML) download sources for EtherCAT slaves used on a SuperCAT master. Always prefer the official file that matches the slave’s firmware revision over hand-editing the XML — it avoids the -1014 recognition error.

For how to install an ESI and re-scan (and the -1014 fix), see Bus setup: scan, ESI & device recognition.

On a PCIe-833x SuperCAT install, drop the downloaded ESI/XML into:
E:\Program Files (x86)\ADLINK\PCIe-833x\EtherCAT\EtherCAT
After a successful scan, the generated topology XML (ENI) appears in …\EtherCAT\ENI. Writing into Program Files (x86) needs Windows administrator (UAC) rights; re-scan / rebuild the cache after adding a file.
